Meet PHI Founder – Sarah Hope Marshall

Sarah Hope Marshall, Profound Hope Industries - headshot

Sarah Marshall is a consultant, speaker, and thought leader dedicated to helping organizations achieve their social missions without compromising strong business fundamentals. With more than 20 years of experience spanning the nonprofit, corporate, and social enterprise sectors, she brings a wealth of knowledge to every engagement. Sarah’s expertise lies in:

  • Community development
  • Social enterprise growth
  • Consumer advocacy
  • Financial inclusion for underbanked populations

Her career includes serving as the CEO of a CDFI credit union focused on individuals in financial crisis, as well as earning an MBA from North Park University and an MLA from The University of Chicago.

Sarah’s work is deeply rooted in diversity, equity, and inclusion—principles that guide every strategy and solution she develops. Living with a lifelong non-apparent disability, she brings a unique, personal perspective to these areas, ensuring her clients build organizations that are not only successful but also ethical and inclusive.
