Stop Letting Purpose and Profit Wrestle One Another Across Roles and Goals
There is a way to balance your bottom line without betraying mission.
At Profound Hope Industries, we call this “the business of hope.” Scroll to see what this means in action.
Why HOPE?
The HOPE framework was designed through pattern recognition across dozens of projects to solve for the two most common problems organizations face when trying to build work with heart.
Problem 1: A lot of heart, a clear sense of a community need or challenge, but infrastructure and supporting systems have not yet been built or have come second to delivering on the mission. When new opportunities come up, the organization feels the pressure of not having systems in place.
Problem 2: Infrastructure and budget exists, growth is the goal, but the organization has not yet clearly connected with the challenge it can meaningfully impact. Community engagement can produce meaningful results, but connecting with community stakeholders gets sidelined in daily priorities, so the foundation that actually creates impact is missing.
The H.O.P.E Framework is a 4-step process that has been used with both multi-billion dollar organizations and one-person non-profits. The scale, goals, budget, and vision may be different, but the steps work every time, across issues. We frame this all around the perspective of HOPE because underlying all of it, your job is to create change for the community you serve. Although getting your own vision, structure, or processes clear will develop the sustainability and clarity you need, creating for change for others involves helping them experience HOPE through your work.
You can do it. We offer the process to make it possible.
